12. Creating a Dream Landscape.
Step 1
For this project you are going to create a dream landscape, some place fantasy or fictional place that you would like to live. The challenge of this project is that even though the image is make believe, you have to make it look as realist as possible. In order to do this, you have to chose an appropriate, realistic scale for your elements in the project. Example, the size of a car should be proportional to the size of a person. Think about your use of perspective to show depth in your project.
Open Adobe Photoshop.
Create a new project that is 11 inches Wide, by 8.5 inches Tall
150 pixels resolution. You will have to change the height and width from pixels to inches, but leave the resolution set for pixels.
You are to use a minimum of 7 images to create a realistic looking fantasy picture. To help you with your project ask yourself the following questions:
Where would you like to live? Is it a mansion, or would you like to live on an island, or the mountains?
Are you there with friends, family, famous athletes, celebrities, musicians, or cartoon characters?
Do you have expensive cars, boats, or airplanes?
Paste your images. You may have to use the (Modify, Free Transform tool) to resize your image to fit the new project. Remember to scale your images appropriately. You want this to look real.
Using the magic wand tool, if necessary to take out backgrounds. If the magic wand selects too much background, and selects the image, change the tolerance to a smaller number. If the magic wand selects too little background, then change the tolerance to a larger number. Once the background is selected, press the backspace key to delete the background.
Step 2
When you finish your project save it as a .jpeg, medium quality. Open your weebly page and add it to a slideshow. Publish your page.
