3. Converting a Color image to black and white.
Step 1
From the sample files, copy ithe original flower image.
Open Adobe Photoshop.
Create a new project that is 6 inches Wide, by 4 inches Tall
150 pixels resolution. You will have to change the height and width from pixels to inches, bur leave the resolution set for pixels.
Paste image 1. You may have to use the (Modify, Free Transform tool) to resize your image to fit the new project.

Select the brush tool. In the Properties menu, under mode, choose Color. Set the Foreground color for black.
Use the brush tool to paint over the background. This will convert the color background to black and white. You may have to adjust the size of your brush for small areas. If you make a mistake, press ctrl+z or edit undo.
When you finish your conversion, save your project as a .jpeg, medium quality. Add a copy of the original flower, and your converted flower to your weebly page.

Create 2 additional converted photos, using 2 different school appropriate images that you find on the internet. Set the Foreground color to something other than black (example blue, or green). When you finish your conversion, save your project as a .jpeg, medium quality. Add a copy of the original images, and your converted images to your weebly page. Publish your page.
